Practical responses include formalizing AI usage policies, instrumenting logs and agent actions, investing in precommit and static analysis tuned for model output, and running more end to end tests and penetration exercises. Some firms are converting developer roles into orchestrator and validator roles, where human expertise focuses on intent, architecture, and safety rather than line level composition. The firms that appear to move fastest combine automated checks with experienced human reviewers and clear standards.
